Is there a way to mark a list "private" -- i.e. not synchronized with other people?

The sychronization feature is great, but not everything needs to be shared.

I would love this function. I will be primarily using this program with my room mate and not my significant other, so there are some things that he simply won't need to know about. :)

This is definitely the most requested feature. I'll see about adding it for the next version.

Would it be easier to create a private category for a user?

Basically how it's going to work is any category you add in parens, i.e (Secret Category) will never get synced. Will that work?

Did you end up implementing this as "(secret category)" or just "(private)"?

Personally, I'd prefer just "(private)" -- less to type and less suspicious sounding.

Thanks.

You can actually surround any category name in parenthesis and it will be a private category. So (my private list) works, or (where the bodies are buried). That way you can have many of them if you want.
