weather launcher updating

got a new berry. transfered my VT over and everything's great; except...
having problems with the weather icon launcher updating. i tried it on two separate themes; got the same results.even went in and manually updated but the launcher icon still won't update.
curve 8530 OS 5.0.0.459 sprint

If you force an update inside VT does the theme icon update?

it will update the icon in VT. but the icons outside will not.

Does it happen with the stock theme as well? If so I may be able to test and try to come up with a fix. Also, does it ever show a weather-like icon, or just the blue box?

yes it does happen with the stock theme as well. i do have an icon with a temp on it. it just doesn't update even if i force one w/in VT. that one does update regularly and is always correct.

Can you try the 'Reinstall Launchers' menu item inside Home Screen bookmarks? Then click on the weather icon that isn't updating.

i did that and it seems to be working. when i force an update w/in VT the launcher updates again. i'll let you know how it goes...as of right now seems to be fixed. thanks!
