How do I add the SMS message list as a popup menu item?

question above says it - can't figure out how to have a popup menu item that will take me to the SMS/MMS message list. What's the trick?

As far as I know this one isn't possible. If you ever see another app that can do it, though, definitely let me know...

Marcus,

One simple way to allow this capability might be to add simulation of the click action on homescreen icons to the popup menu.

That way we could simply simulate clicking the SMS/MMS icon on the homescreen via the popup menu item and that would do the trick.

Or better yet add capability to create popup menu item to invoke whatever action is invoked via clicking a particular homescreen icon.

Here is a custom developed blackberry today theme which provides on click access to SMS/MMS message list.

Not sure if this helps you any in being able to add similar capability as a popup menu item, passing on in case it does.

Hmm, thanks for pointing that out. I'll have to poke around and see what I can find. Good to know it's possible, though.
