"weather for ...." - redundant?

New postby mrcoyote on Thu Feb 04, 2010 10:16 pm

Maybe it's just me, but on the weather app icon isn't the text reading "weather for" a bit redundant? Personally, I'd like to remove "weather for" and just show the "display" field instead - so I see the icon (with a __current temp__ ;) , plus the high & low forecast) and the display text I set under it (which would be my city name).

While talking weather.. a way to specify update intervals would be nice (assuming the weather source updates regularly).

I'm using versatool (in part) to get rid of weather bug and it was nice how it updated often.

Yeah, customized intervals are on my todo list when I implement global settings. Shouldn't be too long before I have it in.

Probably redundant on the icon label, I'll have to think about how to fix that (long story as to why it's complicated).

Let me know if you have any other ideas...
