A simple selectable function (either assignable to a key combination or picked from a menu) that suppresses the auto-dimming feature for a set time. Let us select the time period.
Every once in a while I want to leave the BB semi-unattended and keep an eye on it out of the corner of my eye. It would be nice to not have to go disable the feature entirely in options, then remember to re-enable it later. A nice quick pick to suppress the dimmer for say... an hour... would satisfy my needs.

This is similar to the "stay lit" feature in QuickLaunch. It is handy.
