Currently under the Run App function of VT, you are unable to Open the SMS Inbox (not Messages). This feature is useful for users who sms often. It cannot be found in other menus as well

Yeah, this one isn't possible as far as I'm aware. If you do see another app that manages let me know and I'll keep digging, but I spent a few days trying to do it and all roads led to dead ends...

Hi Marcus,

I have seen some themes able to access this function. For example, the pureexecutive theme from purelabs, is able to open the sms inbox if you are on the homescreen and hit the $ key on the keypad.

Yeah, themes are a special case. If I made a theme companion (I'm actually thinking about it) I could do some other stuff, but it's pretty limited...
