load PC podcast files into PodTrapper?

New postby RicardoSwe on Wed Apr 07, 2010 5:08 pm

Is there a way that I can load a file of a podcast off my PC into PodTrapper?

There is a podcast I'd like to listen to with PodTrapper, but I can only get it via a subscription service that lets me copy the file to my PC.

Let me know if this is not clear. thanks!

Hi Ricardo,

You can, but it's not a very fun process. You can use PT to play any file from your SD card via the 'Browse Other Files...' link at the bottom of the podcast list. So you just need to copy it over to a folder there somewhere.

What podcast is it? Usually most subscription podcasts can work with PodTrapper... (though there definitely are some that can't).

Marcus -

It's Bob Brinker podcast (financial info). Repeats his radio show of Sat/Sun. As far as I know, the only way to get it is to sign up ($) and then go to his website, pick and download to my PC. So, I guess the analogy is how to pick off podcasts from a web site listing of them. Maybe I'm making this out to be more complicated than it really is. I guess I could just try...

Hmm, looks like he doesn't have RSS at all, so I guess moving them over manually is the only option...
