HTML "jibberish" in various podcast synopses...

Marcus,

In the synopses for many (but not all) podcasts, I notice HTML "special character" encoding (looks like jibberish), like:

from Inside CNET Labs #93
Code: Select all
It's taking all my strength...
where the ' should simply be ' and

Code: Select all
&nbsp
which should simply be a space

I also see remnant HTML code (likely links) displayed, things like:

from BUZZ Out Loud 1233
Code: Select all
Tech support calls ensue. loadUniversalPlayer({playerType: 'ces2010-small',lumiereQueryType: 'id',li=umiereQueryValue:....
...it goes on and on for several lines, and

from Engadget #197
Code: Select all
Summary:
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/14/...
...this goes on and on for several lines before the actual text of the summary appears, which gets totally lost in the jibberish.

Would you be able to add some filtering code to replace the encoded special characters with their human-readable forms, and to strip out links and other code that PodTrapper can't display properly, or that has no value within Podtrapper like links (I don't believe that PT can actually click or interact with the links, so there's probably no point in even displaying them), etc?

That would look much cleaner and more polished.

Cheers

Yeah, this is on my todo list. It will work out of the box with the android version, but BB doesn't have OS-level code to do it, so I have to roll my own.
