"Browser Filter" permission? What does it impact?

New postby MrSimmonsSr on Wed Jan 21, 2009 9:19 am

Marcus,

Just bought PodTrapper. Awesome app! Thanks for all you do!

Quick Question: Everytime I start PodTrapper, it warns me that my admin enforces a policy that could effect PodTrapper functionality. The app seems to be working well, however. The permission it mentions is called "Browser Filter". What is that and how could it impact PodTrapper?

Thanks!

Good question, I probably transposed a number when I was doing that (permissions are based on numbers). I'll check it out and remove that from the permission list it looks for :)

Just wanted to let you know this is fixed in 1.6.5, which is in PreRelease right now, but available for testing if you like.
