RIM Icon in PT 2.1.4

Occassionally a RIM icon appears on the top center of my screen while in PodTrapper. Is there any significance to this?

I think that's an icon to indicate what your current download method is. I do all my downloading OTA, so mine is always "RIM" or "CARRIER".
RIM = BIS, and probably BES
CARRIER is probably TCP and/or WAP2
There are probably also USB and Wifi icons, but I haven't seen them.

Yep, that's exactly it. It will only appear when there's an active download going on.

RIM = BIS/BES
Carrier = WAP2/TCP
USB
WIFI
