Ok, random question. Anyone know how to enable email notifications of comments to a wordpress blog? I can find tons of references to it, but no where to actually turn it on. I'm likely missing something stupid, anyone have any insight?

Hi, diffused's husband doug here. Although I am not a wordpress user, I may have a satisfactory work around. If the blog site does not provide an option for notices on visitor comments, try enabling comment moderation. You will then get an email notice when there are new comments. The drawback is comments are not immediately posted.

An alternative might be to use the "Webmon" program. It periodically checks for updated websites. You would simply point to the blog page where comments are normally seen. It also allows you to designate partial web page monitoring in case there is rotating ad content. -doug

Thanks, I didn't think of the moderation thing, that should definitely work.
