Audiobook File Formats

Sorry if this has been asked/answered before....

What audio formats does Pod Tapper support?
I will be using PT for playing my audiobooks and need to know what file types it can support.

Podtrapper leverages the built-in BlackBerry Media Player, so audio format support is determined by BBMP. Support may vary between devices and OS builds, but most common audio formats should be supported.

One thing to watch out for is DRM (media encryption). If your audiobooks are encrypted, you won't be able to play them. Books from Audible (.aa) come encrypted. There are ways to strip that encryption, but I don't think that can be legally discussed here. If your audiobooks aren't encrypted they should play fine.

Podtrapper has a free trial (30 days, I think) that you can download by pointing your device to http://ota.versatilemonkey.com/. The trial is full-featured, so you can see if it works with your audiobooks before you pay the very reasonable purchase price.
