I just installed podtrapper on my BB 8100 but get the message "Error starting podtrapper: Class 'net.rim.device.api.applicationcontrol.ApplicationPermissions' not found. Once I hit 'Ok', nothing happens. I would really like to try your application.

Hi there,
Sounds like you're running BB OS version 4.2.0 or earlier. Unfortunately PodTrapper requires 4.2.1 or later to function. Good news is there are updated OS releases for your model, what carrier are you on?

v4.2.0.71 is my version. My carrier is AT&T/Cingular. How do I update?

Go here:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/en ... 2F9F00E7D4Select "Blackberry Pearl 8100 smart phone"
You want:
BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.152 (Multilanguage)
It should come with instructions for upgrading, but basically just make sure you've backed up your device, install that, then connect to the BB desktop manager. It'll notice you have updated software and walk you through it.
Hope this helps (you'll see a big difference in 4.5

Thank you. I did the upgrade and it is much better.
Podtrapper works fine now as well. Will probably end up buying because its definitely a cool app.
