MP3 Podcasts are Converted to MPG's

When I download audio podcasts (Howard Stern show) from CrystalOne.com, they appear as MP3's but are somehow converted to MPG's when PodTrapper grabs them. I supply the Podcast URL's manually and they seem to have some kind of personalized login and password code embedded at the end of the URL after the .mp3 extension. The files still play, but Podtrapper treats them as video files with an audio track. The screen blanks out and the audio still plays. It is not a major bug, as I can still get back to the now playing screen. I was just wondering why this was happening and if there was a workaround.

Hmm, it depends on what content type they're sending back to PT. Can you shoot me a copy of your logs after forcing a download of one of them? (Via the 'Email Developer' menu item)

It should be fixed in the latest alpha release, but there may be other bugs with it.

Thanks, it works now. Now, I just have to hope that Rim fixes the problem with BBMP that causes it to restart some podcasts whenever I try to pause or fast-forward past the 36 minute mark. I guess it does not like certain types of MP3 encodes.

Yeah, and sadly the higher it gets in the 5.0.0.xxx range the worse it seems to be getting :/
