I noticed that the Savage Love podcast hasn't picked up the last two episodes. I checked the settings and didn't see anything out of order. So, I deleted the podcast entry and then added it back in as new. Now PT doesn't seem to read the feed at all. It shows the name of the podcast as the URL of the feed and it uses the orange speaker PT icon for the feed icon.

I looked at the RSS feed URL on my PC and it looks okay to me. The feed URL is http://feeds.thestranger.com/stranger/savage

Any ideas?

Can you shoot me a copy of your logs after forcing an update?

I forced an update today and it started working. However, there is only one episode available and it is dated today. If I view the feed on my PC I get the entire back catalog. Maybe they've added some restrictions based on user agent? I tired impersonating iTunes, but there was no change. Is there any way to impersonate firefox or IE?

I figured this out. It's a bug. It's fixed in 3.0.2 going out later today... Sorry about that.

I installed 3.0.2 and then forced a refresh of the podcast. However, I still don't see any of the previous episodes. When I view in standard view, I see nothing. When I view in downloaded only, I see nothing. When I view deleted, I see the one episode that it previously saw and and I have listened to and deleted.

Do I need to remove the podcast and then re-add it?

No, it should pick them up. I'll check it out.

:/ So I couldn't duplicate this. I get 100 episode with default settings, and if I up my 'Max to read from feed' to unlimited I show all 208 episodes. (This is after I fixed another XML bug, though, so it could have been the same thing). At any rate, it should work in 3.0.3, let me know if not. (Though that version may not go out until tomorrow).

I just loaded up 3.03 and it seems to have fixed the problem. I now see the entire back catalog.
