other software starts podtrapper inadvertently

New postby hunberry on Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:02 pm

I have a Cliq XT android phone (still OS 1.5 :(
and PodTrapper (3.0.5) starts playing whenever the SMS Scheduler Demo (by Sergey Fayman)
sends a message.
Very interesting, very undesirable.
Is there anything I could on the PodTrapper side to avoid this?

That's really weird. Can you send me a copy of your logs right after it starts playing via the Help/Support menu item? (Before pausing it again if possible). I log that cause of play/pause, so it'll be interesting to see what's happening.

I cannot duplicate this today.
Maybe I was just dreaming.
There was an OS update for the phone, so that could have also fixed the problem.
Who knows?

Marcus,

I just sent you the log file from the phone.
I was able to duplicate the problem on my Android 1.6 Cliq XT (Motorola) phone.

In this case it was triggered by a screen on/off/on or off/on/off cycle. (With that setting enabled in podtrapper). Any idea what may have caused that? (Could be the OS, and I need to filter, since it appears that it happened within about 9 milliseconds, which I'm not sure is possible to do manually)
