Gingerbread Problems

I'm not sure if the current beta version of PodTrapper is meant to be Gingerbread compatible or not, but I am finding that I cannot get any of my podcasts to play since upgrading. I dug through the debug logs and found:

Code: Select all
47: Using Stock Media Player
47: setVideoScreen non-null
47: ViewView.setPlayerManager non-null
49: Received video size changed: 640x360
49: Received onPrepared (0)
49: playPlayableOsB(): Seeking to 0 (0)
49: startPlayer(false) (0)
49: startPlayerOs() (0)
49: surfaceChanged
49: currentPlayer.start()
49: Received seek complete (0)
49: Received error from media player: 1, -2147483648
49: Media player completed playback (0)
49: Received END_OF_MEDIA (0)
49: Not attempting to playNext
49: VideoScreen.close
49: VideoScreen.finish
49: Closing current: END_OF_MEDIA encountered
50: Finished startPlayer completely
50: Finished processing action
50: surfaceDestroyed
50: setVideoScreen null
50: VideoScreen.onDestroy
50: setVideoScreen null

Visually, I get a black screen as if the video player is beginning and then flash back to the Now Playing screen.

Is this something that can be fixed or will this require a future update (ie. should I roll back to FroYo). I use PodTrapper daily, so not having it today is making me a bit insane.

If you need more information or something different from the log, just let me know.

Hmm, I'm running Ginerbread on the phone I use for testing and it works ok, so something else must be going on. Can you try grabbing the latest beta and see if it helps?

Let me know if not.

This error was while using 3.0.20.

I've since SBF'd back to stock and reloaded my previous R2D2-based ROM. In addition to PodTrapper (potentially) having problems, both BTMono and SuperMonoBT are broken, which would make it impossible to listen to podcasts at work anyway. If/when they are updated (or a similar app is released for Gingerbread), I will upgrade again.

Ok, definitely let me know if you do switch again.
