I have the setting at rewind for 3 seconds--often when I get emails ( I get many) the rewind will be much further back than 3 seconds or will go forward 30 or more seconds--is there anyway I can disable email notification other than "turn all alerts off" to stop this from happening?

BB 9650 Bold OS 6.0 Platform 4.4.0.438

Unfortunately not. The OS handles the pausing on BB (on android I can control this). So the only option there is to turn off the rewind, but then the resume can sometimes have issues. The problem is the 'seek' on BB isn't very reliable :/
