Desktop Application

New postby Brian on Fri Mar 27, 2009 1:17 am

I keep getting this error when attempting to connect the blackberry to my computer...was working fine but now not.
I tried upgrading to 1.86 and reinstalling desktop application. Rebooted both laptop and blackberry several times but still get a java io error 12152. Any ideas? Don't want to stop using the USB connection because it is fast and doesn't eat up the verizon data pipe. I have unlimited but they throttle you if you use too much.

Thanks,
Brian.

Hi Brian, when you get that error, where/when are you getting it and can you tell me exactly what it says? Also, after you try to download can you shoot me a copy of the logs from within PodTrapper? (Via the email developer menu item).

They'll help me narrow it down. Also, just as a quick check, can you hover over the podtrapper icon in your system tray and see what version it reports?

I uninstalled and reinstalled desktop app and now it works. I'll follow your procedure if it happens again.

Thanks!
Brian.
