Download number problem

I have a podcast where I have
Unfinished number to keep = 2
Max to auto-download = 2
But there are 4 episodes downloaded.

This is the Bill Simmons BS report from ESPN
I think the problem is the episode titles.
There are two episodes on 4/2 with the same title (The BS Report 4/2) but the episode description is different (and the url and filenames). Same for 3/30.

So when you are figuring out what to download and keep, are you looking at the number of unique titles but then downloading all the episodes with that title?

Also (unrelated), since 1.8 when listening to a podcast, the progress bar doens't always update. I have to move the wheel to change focus to get it to change (and then it will sometimes start updating but sometimes just update once). I've been trying to figure out a pattern to when it updates and when it doesn't but it seems random at this point. Not a huge deal though
