Storm- Unable to download large podcasts

Hi,

I have Blackberry Sorm, Firmware V4.7.0.78. And Podtrapper V2.0.

I installed it yesterday and subscribed to several podcasts. So far I am only able to download one show. As the others fail due to size.

It starts by sizing down the volume (from the log) and then finaly gives up!

Any ideas?

Which podcasts are you having trouble with, and who is your carrier?

Carriers can limit file size, and PT works around this by downloading the file in pieces. Some servers don't support downloading in pieces at all, so this may be causing the problem.

You should be able to get around this by downloading over wifi or USB.

Can you shoot me a copy of your logs? (Use the 'Email developer' menu item). My guess without seeing them, though, is that the server doesn't support chunking. You can set up APN settings for your carrier sometimes to get around the limits, but it depends on the carrier and such. Alternatively there's the desktop app, but it's obviously not good if you wanted to do it wirelessly (though it is unobtrusive).
