Keys not responding on any screen

This may or may not be a Podtrapper issue, but even if not I hope someone else might help.

For a few weeks now I've been having a problem where I take my Bold out of the holster, but it doesn't respond to any keys (any at all - including convenience, mute, scroller button).

It may happen only when I press a key very soon after taking it out of the holster, but I do this usually anyway so I don't know if it's causal.

When this problem occurs, then I put it back in the holster and pull it out again. 60% of the time it fixes it. If not I try again, and it sometimes fixes it the second time. Sometimes I keep trying and it never responds again so I have to pull the battery.

It can happen if I'm on the main desktop screen, and I think it's happened when podtrapper has focus.
I always have podtrapper at least in the background though.

Has anyone experienced this problem ? It's extremely annoying..
