Auto play podcast folder and audio book folder

New postby chilcotin on Fri Jan 21, 2011 11:49 pm

Podtrapper is a family favourite. All three of us have copies. However, there is one feature which would be of great benefit to us. We all drive long distances (of up to 960 kilometres a day) and are addicted to our podcasts and audio books. Many audio books have short (3 to 5 minute) sequential audio files. We use Podtrapper to play these books but it is truly a pain to have to manually leave one file and then load the next audio file each time. When driving, it is also dangerous to take your eyes off the road so frequently.

Would it be possible to include an option that would allow all podcasts in a particular folder and all audio files in a particular folder to be automatically played sequentially.

Many thanks!

That's exactly what the playlist feature is for, browse to the folder you want to listen to hit the menu key and click add to playlist that will add all the files in that folder to the queue, then you can go into the playlist and customize it to your liking.
