It would be nice to be able to remap the keyboard shortcuts to different letters.

I second this request.

Even better would be to allow the user to create their own keyboard shortcuts (map a key to any menu action). This way, we wouldn't have to ask for shortcuts anymore.

At the minimum, though, it would just be nice to be able to remap the existing shortcuts.

Hi guys,

This is a feature I'd love it get in (and actually tried once), but as always (it seems) it comes down to a cross-device issue. For example, with the ff/rw keys, on the pearl the first press is 'o', but the second press is 'p', then the third press is 'o'... Makes it difficult to allow a user to, for example, press a key to map to function X. It's not a deal breaker, just makes it a bit more complicated that I'd like it to be, and will take lots of work and testing to make it work on every device.

It's definitely on my list and will make it, but it may be a while :(

I second this request, but the only key I wish to change is the Play/Pause key.

And that is for a very specific reason: I have a tight fitting case, and everytime I put the phone into it, before going into sleep mode, it always hits the spacebar on it's way into the case, pausing any playing podcast.

It isn't that big of deal, though.
