I realize this might not be possible, but I figure it's worth a shot.

Would it be possible to have PT perform some sort of volume leveling on downloaded episodes? I occasionally listen to some poorly produced interviews that are impossible to hear over my BT headphones when I'm at the gym, since they're so quiet. It would be nice to have a convenient way to make sure all episodes are at a listenable volume.

I've thought about stuff like this, but basically it would require implementing a media decoder in java (as opposed to the native media player) and doing the adjustment there. Definitely doable (well, possible), but would be murder on battery life.

I have it on my todo list to investigate (for doing things like this and for speeding up/slowing down playback), but it's probably going to be a while, and it may turn out to be infeasible...
