EDIT: 0.1.18 fixes issues with the flashlight on 9700

I just finished up a new VersaTool beta that fixes some bugs and adds a new Flashlight applet for those running OS 5.0 and later (haven't figured out a good way to do it on < 5.0 yet).

Here's the complete list of changes:

* New Applet: Flashlight (OS 5.0+ only)
* Compose/Call now has an address book lookup button
* Fixed issue with icons on Pearl Flip
* Fixed popup menu scroll issue
* Fixed: Also, after sending such a message an icon, with an alarm clock image, and the title "Compose Message" is left in my "switch applications" list and seemingly can't be got rid of without pulling the battery.
* Fixed: Handle trackwheel horizontal movement on main screen
* Default schedules to 'Enabled'

Let me know if you run into any issues with this release.

So I started testing on all of my devices and apparently there are some that are flaky with the flashlight. I'll be investigating, but I'd love to hear if we can find a pattern of who it does/doesn't work for.

flashlight seems to be working quite fine on a 9530 storm with 5.0.0.419

nice to see it use the camera flash instead of the status LED!

Yeah, since I've had so many problems with the storm I actually test on that first now, so it was the first to work (I broke down and got a few devices from random people on craigslist, so now it's like a little BlackBerry farm over here)

I just pushed 0.1.18 that fixes it for the 9700 (which was the only one I have that had a problem). The 9530, 8330 and 9700 I can confirm as working now.
