New PodTrapper Betas (2.9.13)

Ok guys, we're getting really close. The issues are getting fewer and further between, which, according to my software engineering professor in college means there are fewer bugs to be found :)

http://ota.versatilemonkey.com/beta/

Here's what changed in this one:
* BB: Fixed occasional 'File System out of Resources' message
* BB: Fixed issue choosing new storage folder (or pointing at new location for it)
* BB: Fixed scroll issue on 9800
* BB: Fixed: Volume bars and other indicators break when screen dims (don't refresh)
* BB: Fixed: Similar to the volume bar bug, after a podcast is finished playing it dims (as it always has) but then stays until you change to another screen.
* Fixed issue with crashing when adding a large number of manual feeds all at once

Mostly BB fixes, I think android is pretty solid/stable right now. There is a memory issue when you subscribe to lots of podcasts (if they have large thumbnails you'll overrun the memory limit that android allows), but I'm working to improve that.

Let me know if anyone runs into any issues with this one.

If you have a key for BB it should keep working on the android version, assuming you have one of the newer 12 digit codes. If you need one of those you can generate it here:

My BB purchase was a long time ago and I no longer have access to any PIN or Invoice numbers.
Where do I purchase a new key?

On the Android widget, does it only launch into PT if you touch the text? The text is very small compared to the empty space to the left and right of the play icon. Often I touch in the empty space but nothing happens. The phone vibrates, so I know it is registering a touch.

I would suggest touching anywhere outside of the play button should launch PT.

Much bigger buttons would be nice.

Just tested Bluetooth with Droid 2.2 running PT 2.9.13
I have a total of 3 music players (stock, mixzing & stock)
When nothing is playing, and I hit Pause/Play on BT device Stock player begins
When Mixzing is open, but nothing has been played since it opened, Stock Player begins
When Mixzing is open, and is playing, or was recently paused, Mixzing responds to the BT controls
When Podtrapper is open (whether playing or not) it never responds to BT controls. Stock player or Mixzing will respond (depending on whether Mixzing had recently been open/playing)

Oh, and If you're still taking suggestions on widgets, I would love a 1x1. Either a scrolling track/file title or just Podtrapper text at top, and small pause/play button like is avb on current widget.

Cheers.

I have occasional crashes of beta 2.9.13 on a Moto Cliq XT (android).
The one I recognized is when (sometimes) it tries to start the scheduled downloading.

Looking at the stack traces (it pushes crashes to versatilemonkey.com) it appears that the only crashes with 2.9.13 are memory related (thumbnails and a possible leak somewhere). Definitely something I'm working on.

Does anybody else have problems with PT exiting when it's in the background? I noticed this because I found that whenever I open it up, it goes through the startup procedure. I also noticed it exited today when I opened up Google Maps with PT playing a podcast in the background.

This is annoying since it doesn't update my podcasts daily.

edit: Droid running 2.2. I think this occurred on 2.1 for me too.

Note: I have a task killer, but it doesn't autokill.

There were some huge leaks in the current version on android (really huge), so I'd be very interested to see if you still see it restart with the latest (2.9.14).
