Does Podtrapper work on the leaked 5.0 O/S?

It should. There's a drawing issue with the highlight colors that isn't fixed until PodTrapper 2.5.1, but functionally it should work fine.

Some early leaked versions have huge bugs, though, that can prevent PodTrapper from working, but as far as I know the latest ones work without issue.

I am using it with .230 and it works but as mentioned there are some display issues with the colors.

Make sure you start any videos in landscape mode because often switching modes causes display glitches that are hard to recover from.

I have the latest version (.323) on mine, and it's great except that it seems to have disabled my ability to use a headset or headphones. Just a heads up that this could happen if you decide to upgrade. I'll have to downgrade due to this.

:/ This is mildly worrisome since supposedly .328 is going to be released to the masses shortly. Hopefully it's fixed in that one.

328 didn't fix it for me. VZ ended up just replacing the phone. It was definitely the update that did it though as I used the headset every day for hours on end. I ran the update and it was immediately broken. VZ said they would downgrade to 4.7 for me, except they removed the old firmware from their site. Probably a slightly faulty headset jack from the beginning, but it's faults were within acceptable tolerances for 4.7, but no go for 5.0.

For most people though...I wouldn't worry. I could only find one other person out there that this happened to.

I upgraded to .328 and Podtrapper is working well.
Some freezes when trying to adjust the settings but other than that, it's working well.

I've been running OS 5.0.328 on my Storm for a few days now and PodTrapper 2.5.1 works perfectly with it. Also my Stereo Bluetooth Motorola Rokr S305 headset has zero issues.

PodTrapper is still my favorite app and the least troublesome. The Restore Settings worked flawlessly as well after the OS Upgrade.

I've noticed the same thing with my headset port not working.
I can get PT to work with my AUX cable in my car (it had been working great with 2.5.1 on OS 4.7).
It does work with my standard BlackBerry Headset though.

I just installed 5.0.328 with Pod trapper 2.5.1. During the update there was a message about compatibility mode. Podtrapper is in portrait mode. I want the old method back. sorry for the stupid question, but I cannot find the way to change the keyboard setting.

Do I interpret this correctly that with 5.0 Bluetooth AVRCP works properly?

Thanks!

With my BT phones, OS 5.0.328 and PodTrapper everything works the way it should.

I haven't yet implemented the media controls on 5.0 yet, I'd be curious to see if they just automatically work :)

When I click on >|| on my MotoRokr S305 it starts the next item on the playlist (hmmm, clicking again doesn't Pause though, jumps to the next unplayed item). If I hit FF or REW that works correctly. Podcasts or Vodcast, doesn't matter.

Not sure what is doing the signal handling if not PodTrapper. Something is seeing and translating it ... lol.

Hmm. Can you confirm specifically that, when playing audio via bluetooth, the control functions like pause, rewind, fast forward, etc. work?

For what it's worth I just tried on my Jabra BT620s and got no response from the AVRCP keys. Still on my todo list to implement...

AHA! Fascinating. When I clicked >|| on my MotoROKR's a podcast started playing. But then i couldn't see anything playing, progress-bar-wise, and I realized the BB Media Player was playing a podcast mp3. It wasn't PodTrapper at all.

Just freakin' magical these things.
