OS 5.0 will not go into Standby on Event

I have Versatool version 1.02 running on Blackberry Bold 9700 with OS 5.0.0.680. Since the first version installed, Standby and lock actions do not work on a backlight off event. I know it reads backlight off, as I've managed to set it up to do something else and it works (turn off wi-fi). Would be a nice to have.

Another minor annoyance. When I recently upgraded to 1.02 (was ridiculously running an old beta version), I lost one of my popup menus. I recreated and the keyboard shortcut stopped generating errors. Backup/recovery did not work for this.

I'm still working on standby for later OS versions, they've broken how i used to do it. Stay tuned...

I'm not sure what you mean on the second, would you mind elaborating?

I just ran into the same thing again. Here's what I see:

I have 2 popup menus defined in Versatool
I upgrade Versatool (or in this case my OS)
The Default popup menu is still there
The additional popup menu I created is gone, but the keyboard shortcut still exists
Executing the keyboard shortcut causes an error until the popup menu is re-created.

After an OS upgrade and a restore, the settings are all lost, but that's ok. Better if they weren't, but I can re-create them.

Hmm, in that situation does the restore from SD card work? (In the Settings screen menu)

Restore doesn't work either. I tried multiple restore days and they all end up the same. Fortunately, it wasn't a complicated setup, but it would be good to be able to restore.

Hmm, did you try the latest beta when restoring? (I think I may have fixed it there)
