Left Convenience key no longer works in 2.5.0 if lid closed

Just upgraded to 2.5.0 on my Pearl Flip 8220. (I was pleased to see that the Volume keys are now functioning when the lid of the Flip is closed. Thanks!)

In 2.1.0, I assigned "Rewind a little" and "Skip a little" functions to the Left and Right Convenience keys. These keys worked properly when the lid of the Flip was either closed or open.

After I upgraded to 2.5.0, the Right Convenience key still works when the lid of the Flip is either closed or open. However, the *Left* Convenience key only functions when the lid is open, i.e. pressing the Left Conv key does nothing when the lid is closed. I tried the following to fix the Left Conv key:
1) re-assigning different PT functions to the Left Conv. key
2) made certain that the Left key was assigned for all of the modes (Holstered, PT in foreground and PT in background.)
3) removed all BB functionality from both the Left and Right Conv keys using the BB Settings icon

No luck, though. The Right Conv. key, however, still works just fine as it did in 2.1.0.

Thanks for reporting this. I'll grab the flip simulator and see what I can find.

Can you post your OS version so I can make sure to test with the right one?

My 8220's OS version is v4.6.0.180 (platform 4.1.0.61).
