Seek error while playing

Recently updated Podtrapper to latest version and my Blackberry was also updated to the latest OS. Now, when I play a podcast and I try to seek either forward or backward I get the following - "Error seeking in this episode: javax.microedition.media.MediaExeption/Seeking not allowed on media." All I can do is start at the beginning of a podcast and listen through to the end. Cannot skip forward or backward.

Because two different things updated, don't know if it was the Podtrapper or Blackberry update that may have caused the issue. I did uninstall and reinstall Podtrapper but nothing changed. I am on a Blackberry 8330 running OS 4.5.

Hi there,

The seeking stuff is generally all OS-managed, PodTrapper doesn't have much control over it. Does it happen on all media, or just some podcasts?

Yes, I just checked the media player and I cannot seek forward or backward through MP3's either. I think you are right that it is an OS issue and not a Podtrapper issue. Off to the Blackberry forums I go.
