Podcasts still showing up in music player.

I have a bunch of .mp3 files that I've copied to \BlackBerry\podtrapper\

Then I went to
Settings -> Playback settings -> Show files in Media Player -> Yes
Save
Settings -> Playback settings -> Show files in Media Player -> No
Save

and those files are still showing up in blackberry's music player. And when I listen to my music, I don't want to be interrupted by 30 minutes podcasts...

Any solution to this?

I think that setting only applies to files that PT downloads. It doesn't have any record of files you put in there yourself, so it can't manage them.

You might try giving them an extension that the media player won't recognize. This is how PT prevents BBMP from indexing them. PT appends the extension .dat (filename.mp3 -> filename.mp3.dat), then removes the .dat extension before sending the file to BBMP. I'm not sure if you'll be able to play the file without removing the .dat extension, but it's worth a shot. Let us know if it works.

PodTrapper won't recognize them as media files unfortunately. I can, though, fix that, so that it could be a viable solution. I'll add it to my list.
