With the default android music player, when the screen is locked there are simple buttons for play, pause, and skip. and, while I love the feature where you can tap the power button twice to pause the player, if there were similar buttons on a locked android screen that would be phenomenal. I am loving podtrapper otherwise!

Hi Dale,

I'd actually love to do this, but it's remarkably difficult. (Well, not difficult, just a lot of work). There are a few apps out there that let you put widgets on your lock screen (here's one: http://www.myflyscreen.com/ ). Basically for me to do it, I'd have to re-implement the lock screen, along with media widgets and such. Doable, but with free apps that let any widget on the lock screen I'm not sure it's something I want to undertake.

Not that any of this would do what you want yet, since the current widget doesn't have ff/rewind buttons. But that's coming

Hi Marcus,
I just downloaded the 30 day trial for Android and so far I'm very pleased. Just a quick question on the widget. I have Widget Locker and have put the widget on my lockscreen. But no offense, its a little ugly Is there any way to make the background transparent or otherwise alter the appearance? Yes, I know I'm being a little picky. No other complaints on a great app! Thanks!

Yeah, first version was 'Make it work'

Next release will have some more widgets and customizability.
