Password protected podcast: example?

New postby EliezerB on Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:29 am

I'm interested in helping someone set up a password protected podcast of their own - e.g. to broadcast their own. I only knew this existed because of the feature that PT has to provide a username/password for a podcast. In order for me to see what exactly this means, could anyone:
1) point me to an example of such a password-protected RSS / XML feed page?
2) even better - a resource explaining how to set up such a thing?

Thanks very much!

Moved this to the PodTrapper forum.

PodTrapper can only work with basic http authentication, so any webserver configured for basic auth will work. It's not podcast specific, just a regular password protected directory in your webserver.
