PodTrapper now shows garbage on Main Screen

In the middle of playing a podcast, the playback stopped. When I unlocked the phone, I saw that PodTrapper was no longer running. When I restarted it (and even tried rebooting the phone), I now see this on the "Main Screen":

60 Minutes
0 N 0 P 0F 0 DL 0 NoDL

RadioLab
15 N 0 P 0 F 14 DL 0 NoDL

etc...
Any one else have this?

Have you tried clearing 'Data' and 'Cache'? (Settings>Applications>Manage applications>PodTrapper) If that doesn't work, try reinstalling. Or better yet, install the latest beta if you haven't already: http://ota.versatilemonkey.com/beta/PodTrapperA.apk

That I'm not too sure about. You could back up the PodTrapper folder to be sure.

I'm not. Just a guy that has been using PodTrapper for years and likes to check in on the forums occasionally.

You mean via USB connection to PC? Like copy the folder and then just overwrite it with my backup if necessary? That's all I have to do to make a complete backup of every PT setting and all data there is? So easy?

You could copy it to a PC or to another folder on your SD card. All of the downloaded episodes are kept in that folder along with the backups PodTrapper automatically makes.

But how about all the podcast/general settings and which episodes I listened to partially, etc. Is that all backed up to there, too?

The automatic backups done by PodTrapper back up everything. It just depends how recent the latest backup is.

Were you able to fix the garbage on the main screen?

I copied my "podtrapper" folder to my PC and cleared the cache and data - which did erase all settings and podcasts. I opened up PT again and chose restore from a backup (from today) and now have zero podcasts with all my settings forgotten.
Now what?

I'm assuming you put the PodTrapper folder back on the SD card after clearing cache and data? Try clearing those again and using a different backup. The one you used was probably one created after you cleared the data.

FYI, I get the same problem happening.
All was working perfectly until I added "Radiolab" podcast from http://feeds.wnyc.org/radiolab

Then I get the corrupted/garbled screen.

@EliezerB, There might be a pattern here somewhere, did the corrupted screen happen after adding a particular podcast, or I see you do subscribe to RadioLab, so did the problem happen after you subscribed to that 'cast?

Perhaps an overrun of the podcast cache memory?
