podtrapper on Ubuntu

Hi there,

I just made the fateful switch to Ubuntu from Windows XP and so far am loving it!
Just a shame some of my favourite programs just won't run on ubuntu... like the desktop app for podtrapper. Is there anything in the system to get a lynux friendly version out?

Unfortunately no. (Though it may work over wine, not sure). The problem here is that USB communication with your berry is reliant on the BB Desktop Manager app (there's no way to talk direct unless I wanted to write my own driver). If you could get that up and running under wine, and the desktop app you should be good to go, though no guarantees that will work

Good luck, I was a desktop linux user for years. I finally switched back to windows a couple years ago.
