Quick Question - Paused Tracks download over

Great App BTW!

If I am listing to a podcast, pause half way through, then my podcast is updated and re-downloaded. My podcast loses its position. Anyway to keep the marker where I paused it?

Hmm, it shouldn't.

I'm a bit confused, though. The same podcast gets downloaded a second time?

Yes,

I have this podcast set to four times a day. If there is not any new podcasts, then it clears any downloaded podcasts are re-downloads them. Is that not the intended behavior?

Podcasts Settings:

Downloaded episodes to keep: 4
Max to download: 4
Playback Priority: 15
View order: 15
Match duplicates by: URL

Update Frequency: Four Times Daily

No, it definitely shouldn't do that. What feed is this?

Do the old ones still show up in the list, and it redownloads another one with the same name, or is it actually the same item in the list that gets cleared and redownloaded?

I had this same problem. You might not have the storage for it, but maxing out the number of episodes I keep fixed the problem.

There are 400+ not downloaded. I don't think I want to download them all.

This is a Rush Limbaugh feed. There are 432 podcasts not downloaded.

If it updates and there are no new podcasts then it redownloads the 4 existing, which erases where I am at. If there are new podcasts, which there are 4, the 4 that were downloaded no longer are downloaded and the new ones become downloaded.

Hmm,

Unfortunately I can't take a look at the feed to see what's going on, so we'll have to try to trial and error.

It sounds like setting the 'Auto download' number to zero is what you want, or am I misunderstanding?
