Beta 2.0.10 Released

New postby marwatk on Mon May 25, 2009 5:52 pm

Hi guys,

Here's a mostly feature complete release (this will likely become 2.1.0).

Change are:
* Temp files build up without being reused
* Add pruning of old and orphaned files (via menu item in storage settings)
* Email link for individual episode
* Ignore mute button if call in progress/ringing
* Add 'update all' to download screen
* Toggle preserve on any screen that has a playable episode
* Handle missing extensions better
* As of 2.0.2 backlight keeper-oner isn't working for videos
* Resort download list based on playback priority
* Make playlists backup-able
* Make v3 podcast settings syncable
* Setting for minimum font size
* Help popup for usage tracking
* When skipping in the playlist, allow deletion (Play Next (Delete))
* Cancelling a move in playlists doesn't work properly
* Configurable seek settings
* Perform audio path routing when we would have seeked (apparently it doesn't route properly sometimes if media isn't loaded yet)

I'm very interested in hearing if the Storm backlight issues are gone with newly downloaded videos.

Grab a copy here.

Used this version all day and seems to be running great. Thanks for fixing the preserve while playing and for the additional shortcut. I only have WiFi with no data plan so I'm unable to test the email podcast. Is there any way to have PodTrapper give a choice to save "Export Feeds" to file. With no data plan it says "No message services configured you will only be able to save to Draft". Blackberry does not allow you to open attachments without a data plan. This way you could use yahoo or some other free email service thru WiFi to send friends links. Thanks

I also notice this with my 8900 as well. In addition, the "Rewind a Little" button acts like the "Fast Forward a Little" button. :evil:

Sounds like an easy fix at least (buttons are swapped)

Crap. Thanks for letting me know. I tested all of them after the configurable seek settings except those two.

Arg. Is anyone else seeing this? Can you send me a copy of your logs after seeing that next time? (As soon after as you can would be great, along with a note that that's what the logs are for).

Keep the feedback coming (though I had to ship my laptop back to lenovo to get fixed, so I won't be able to release a new version until at least thursday).

Yes. It seems like it should be an easy fix.
Marcus stated that he checked all of the other buttons except for the 2 that you mentioned, but I still see the "Rewind a Little" button act like the "Fast Forward a Little" button. The actions are not transposed, it is just acting as if both buttons are for "FF a little". Have you seen this as well, or is it just me. I paid very close attention to the count as I viewed this. :evil:

I just tried to send you a copy of the logs but I have the same problem as mentioned earlier "No message services configured you will only be able to save to Draft". Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I'm happy to help any way I can. Thanks

Crap, forgot about that, sorry. I'll add exporting both logs and OPML to the SD card in the next version.
